Log Cabin Quilt a long!

I wanted to try a quilt a long for a while now. So when I saw one for a log cabin quilt I jumped at the chance. It has been really fun. I think I am going to make one for myself and possibly one for my etsy shop. I am using my special stash of out of print Heather Ross fabrics for the centers of each block, this will help me finish the project and do an extra good job! I don't want to waste 1" of these great fabrics!!! But I have really enjoyed making these so it has been fun and easy to keep on making some more blocks! Although it has been great for using up scraps I have realized I don't have as many scraps as I thought!!!

I will be busy this week... I made up a list of quilts I want to get completed and some of the fabric lines are...
Far far away 2, Heather Ross aqua/chocolate mendocino, castle peeps, 2 log cabin quilts, deer valley, neptune, meadowsweet and meadowsweet 2! Plus 3 other quilts already a work in progress. We will see how far I get. Check my shop often, I will be adding these as I get them made. Well off to go sew. See you next week! Past Traditions

New - Weekly posts!

O.K. I am terrible at finding time to keep up with this blog. So... starting today I will blog once a week on Mon. - Wed. I want to mainly show new fabric, what I am working on for the shop, and sneak peaks for custom orders.
So.. now that I got that over with! :) I am working on an adult size rag quilt made with some out of print Heather Ross fabrics. I love a brown and blue/aqua combination. It will be backed with white minky dot (just in time for cooler weather). I am also working on a smaller baby quilt made with the Far Far Away 2 line from Heather Ross also. The picture is of the adult rag quilt using brown and aqua/blue fabric. Until next Mon. - Wed.!!! Past Traditions
